S.E.A Sea Education Aotea Charitable Trust
The Sea Education Aotea Charitable Trust was established in 2004 and aims to take advantage of the unique waterside character of Mulberry Grove School and Tryphena Harbour by training children and young people on Great Barrier island in all aspects of water craft and water safety.

Water-related first aid
Fishing
Sea water and foreshore ecology and geography
The Sea Academy is connected to Mulberry Grove School and its aquatics programme provides the basis for the school's Health and Physical Wellbeing programmes in term's 1 and 4.
SEA employs a co-ordinator with help with the day to day programme organisation from the MGS teaching staff and local volunteers, some of whom have had Waterwise training.
