Blue Nature
The Blue Nature Aotearoa Trust has a mission to restore ecosystems and create new biomass in oceans and coastal waterways through education, supporting and scaling social enterprises, new industries, and blue technology solutions. Mulberry Grove Primary School is the first primary school pilot involving Blue penguins and new technologies.
Māori Language Week has been celebrated each year from 1975. September 14 and commemorates the presentation of the 1972 Māori language petition to parliament.
